You continue to ask for “evidence”….there is plenty of it, and I’ve been giving you evidence throughout this discussion, but you do not want to accept it as legitimate evidence because it doesn’t “fit” your perspective or your worl…d-view. Instead of coming at what I’ve presented to you as “maybe this has validity”, you have approached it all, it appears, as “nothing you say has any validity at all”. I’m not faulting you for this because this is the human condition apart from a relationship with God. I assume you have not spent much or any time with true believers in Jesus, nor have you seriously sought out God and sought answers from Him. Yet, you have sought out answers from the “gods” of this world, the scientific minds who start from their own premises. That’s fine, but when you start from a certain world-view and premise and are looking for everything to “fit” into that perspective rather than expanding it to a wider premise, then you will get what you seek…the limited view that we are completely meaningless, the world is meaningless, our existence in the universe is meaningless, everything we do is meaningless, and we are simply blobs of matter with zero meaning in a completely meaningless universe. That, my friend, is the ultimate end of the world-view you adhere to, whether you want to accept it or not. However, you DO have meaning in your life. You say that YOU create that meaning and that man has created that meaning….but logically, if that is true, then there must be an ultimate “MEANING GIVER”…or SOURCE OF MEANING. And because we are intelligent creatures, capable of incredible discovery, that Source of Meaning must also be the Source of Intelligence. I don’t know how to make the argument any clearer on a level that makes logical sense…this is science aside, and purely logic working here to, as you want, “prove” God’s existence. I know your question is why the Christian god and not other gods. I’ve already answered that: all other religions, if you study them, have at the heart of them a list of “dos and don’ts” and are attempts to please some god or gods. The faith espoused in the Bible, especially in the New Testament, is utterly different, not only in its premise, but also in its “fruit”. In addition, there are hundreds of prophesies in both the Old and New Testaments which have unfolded on the earth and which are coming to pass even today. Can I list them all for you here? No, but again, there are books written to this end.

As long as you believe that God is a grandaddy in the sky, you will never know the true God. As long as you continue to judge that all true believers in Jesus are delusional, rather than being open minded and actually engaging them i…n friendship and in dialogue, you will never know the true God.As long as you compartmentalize your life into science and faith rather than being willing to see if they can overlap, you will never know God. God is the inventor of science, not man. Man is simply uncovering what God already knows and created. Man is on an exploration of what God made and what God can already do. One more things about miracles related to healings. My friend with the bullet. You say it is still in her body somewhere. Ok, maybe. BUT, how do you explain that from ONE second to the next, touching that place on her arm, which produced SCREAMS of pain if you put a feather’s weight of pressure on it, that pain was GONE and she could SLAP the arm with NO pain, and the mark of entry was GONE from one second to the next? Are you going to try to tell me that the body’s pain receptors that were injured for 12 years and one second earlier cause her to SCREAM in pain suddenly healed scientifically? Scientifically that is impossible and you know it. You want to try to explain this away, so that 1. You can be right; 2. you don’t have to admit you could be wrong, and 3. you can stay in control of your life and the world around you, and 4. so you don’t have to admit that maybe, just maybe there is a God who heals. It cannot be explained…no science will ever explain it. Therefore, there MUST be another explanation that is non-scientific….but you are so steeped in your limited ways of thinking about life and the world, that you cannot accept a non-scientific explanation for this.

Throughout this discussion, you have tried to see the God I believe in as somehow within the grasp of full human understanding.. In other words, you want to be able to reach out and touch God in the flesh, and if you cannot, then He does no…t exist. Well, He gave that opportunity 2000 years ago in the person of Jesus, who, as you yourself said, they cannot find the bones of, because He’s no longer dead…He’s alive. God in His grace and mercy, revealed Himself to us in Jesus. We today don’t have the advantage of touching Jesus in the flesh, but we can touch Him in the Spirit, but you are not willing to go there because you are tied to the physical world alone and cannot even fathom that there could be a spirit realm. Plus, Jesus’ true followers DO reveal who He is in the flesh, albeit VERY imperfectly most of the time (at least I know I am VERY imperfect), and you refuse to see that either. You judge all religion based on history books rather than on living believers today, who are right there with you and I can put you in contact with TRUE BELIEVERS if you need living, scientific proof, rather than basing your judgements on what publishers of history books have chosen to include. Plus, you are right, there are many “so called believers” who are what Jesus referred to as “RELIGIOUS” and even HE was very critical of them! In fact, he was the MOST critical of religious people because they did not practice what they preached and were, as he called them, “empty tombs”, beautiful on the outside, but dead on the inside. You cannot be religious and be a follower of Jesus….you have to have a living relationship with Him.

A self-centered man-centered system is functioning on fear because if they ever admitted that there is a God, then they would be held accountable for their actions and their decisions. So, ultimately, it’s a cop-out on yours and so many oth…ers’ parts. You will bow your knee to no one but yourself. You cannot admit, and you have clearly shown that of late in your arguments here, that you could be wrong. You insist that I and the millions of other TRUE believers in the world are completely out of our minds, wrong, and have been the cause of all the problems in the world today. THAT, my friend, is a rash, judgemental statement to make. May I remind you of a man, a scientist, by the name of Josef Mengele, who, during WWII, used human beings for his scientific experiments and then KILLED them. He maimed, sterilized, and brutalized human beings ALL IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!!!!!!! So, you cannot say that scientists have done nothing but good things to advance humanity because that is just a lie! In fact, the entire Nazi party propaganda preaching the annihilation of an entire people group in addition to those “less viable” in their opinions is a clear indication that scientists are not beyond evil behavior. NO ONE is beyond evil behavior….believer or unbeliever, we are all, I repeat all fallen creatures who have lost connection with our Creator. When one loses connection with the Creator, he has to invent his own form of reality, which is what you have done as have millions of others. There’s an old saying that says “God created man in His own image, and then man decided to return the favor.”
