I shall give you rest
Come unto me all who are weary and burdened, I shall give you rest (Matt: 11:28).
When Jesus says, “I will give you rest,” he calls us to get refreshment from him in order to be able to perform in the world. He means not only strength but being relieved of our anxieties. He is calling us with sorrow, burdened with struggles of life and sin.
